1. Definitions and scope of service
“Noor Elbayan Academy” is an educational platform that provides live one-to-one online lessons in Quran memorization, Tajweed and Arabic, through independent teachers approved by the academy. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- The main account is created by a parent or guardian (aged 18 or over), who adds sub-accounts for their children under their full responsibility.
- The user must provide accurate information and keep login details confidential. Sharing the account outside one family is not allowed.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Plans: Standard (2 lessons per week), Intensive (3 lessons per week) and Pro (5 lessons per week). Prices start from $40 per month, the price of each plan is stated before you subscribe, and plans renew automatically every month.
- Fees are collected in advance through the approved payment methods. You can cancel renewal at any time from your dashboard, and the service continues until the end of the paid period.
- Vacation mode: renewal can be paused temporarily while the student’s place and teacher are kept, with no fees during the pause.
4. 7-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied for any reason during the first 7 days of your first subscription, the full amount is refunded with no questions asked. Simply request it from your dashboard or by email at info@noorelbayanacademy.com.
5. Cancellation and make-up lessons
- Cancelling a lesson at least 6 hours before it starts automatically gives you a make-up lesson to schedule later (valid for 60 days).
- Cancelling with less than 6 hours’ notice, or not attending without cancelling, counts as a used lesson.
- If the teacher is absent, a free make-up lesson is added automatically with a formal apology.
6. User conduct and the learning environment
- Any contact between students and teachers outside the platform is prohibited, and messages are monitored by the administration to keep children safe.
- Filming or recording lessons, or sharing their content, is not allowed without written permission.
7. Privacy and protection of children’s data
We collect only the data needed to run the service (name, contact details, learning progress). We do not sell your data to any third party, and sensitive data is encrypted in storage and in transit. Children’s data is used solely for internal educational purposes and is deleted at the parent’s request by email at info@noorelbayanacademy.com.
8. Intellectual property and applicable law
All curricula, reports and designs are the property of the academy. The service is offered to users worldwide.
