This page explains what data Noor Elbayan Academy collects when you use noorelbayanacademy.com, book a lesson or study with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

Noor Elbayan Academy is an online academy offering live one-to-one lessons in Quran memorization, Tajweed, Noorani Qaida and Arabic for children and adults. For any privacy question, write to info@noorelbayanacademy.com.

Data we collect

• Free trial booking form: your name, phone number with country code, email, preferred time and the track you choose. It is saved in the site’s admin area, and a WhatsApp chat with the academy then opens so we can confirm the time.
• Messages: whatever you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
• Student and parent accounts: name, email, study track, attendance, memorization progress, lesson reports and certificates.
• Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep only the transaction reference and subscription status.
• AI recitation check in the free courses: when you use it, your recording is sent to Google Gemini to assess the recitation. We do not keep the recording on our servers after the assessment.
• Reviews: when you review the academy, we save the name and country you enter, your text and rating, and your IP address to block spam. A review is published only after moderation.
• Usage data: basic technical data needed to run and protect the site, plus visit statistics through Google Analytics only if you accept optional cookies.

Why we use your data

• To arrange your free trial and contact you about it.
• To deliver lessons, send reports to parents and track progress.
• To manage subscriptions, payments and refunds.
• To improve the site and the service, and to protect the site from abuse.

We rely on your consent (for example, the booking form and optional cookies) or on providing the service you asked for (for example, lessons and subscriptions).

Who we share data with

We never sell or rent your data. We only use service providers needed to run the academy, and each receives only what it needs:

• Hosting (Hostinger).
• Payments (Stripe).
• Live lessons (Zoom).
• Communication (WhatsApp and email).
• AI recitation check and statistics (Google Gemini and Google Analytics).

Some of this data may be processed outside your country by these providers.

Children’s data

Most of our students are children, and they are registered by a parent. We use a child’s data for educational purposes only. A parent may ask to see or delete their child’s data at any time.

How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for the length of the subscription, plus whatever is required afterwards for accounting or legal reasons. We then delete it or make it no longer linked to you.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent to optional cookies from the consent bar on the site. Send your request to info@noorelbayanacademy.com and we will reply as soon as we can.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to student data is limited to the academy staff involved in teaching and administration. No method of transfer or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
